摘要
Wireless communications are currently undergoing very rapid development, and as a result, the demand for wireless spectrum has been growing dramatically. In this regard, future wireless solutions have to meet multiple needs in terms of spectrum efficiency (SE). Both 5G, the next generation of mobile networks, and Cognitive Radio (CR) came as promising new technologies dealing with those requirements. In the process of molding a future for those systems, it is becoming increasingly clear that energy efficiency (EE) is a desirable design. In this paper, an innovative architecture will be conceived by combining those two technologies. In addition, a novel approach of technical sensing will be implemented in order to ensure a compromise between SE-EE.
