摘要
As a special reaction to unethical behavior, whistle blowing has been paid much attention by researchers abroad. Reviewing these literatures can not only promote the theoretical research in the field of whistle-blowing and unethical behavior, but also be helpful for effective management of employee whistle-blowing. The present research reviewed and evaluated the following six parts of whistle blowing: the concept source and contrast, research method, predictors, formation mechanism, outcomes, and cross-culture research. Future research should expand the process mechanism of whistle-blowing, examine the moderating roles of cultural values, broaden the boundary conditions of whistle-blowing effectiveness, further explore new methods to measure whistle-blowing, and strengthen the localization research.
