摘要：

combined heat and power production is an important challenge in implementation of the strategy results from energy policy for Poland. Presented various types of application built with gas engine or gas turbine and also possible installations were divided according to the fuel. Prepared project of cogeneration system CHP is an example of possible modernization of heating plant, which supplies heat to various recipients in selected city agglomeration as one of the main solution to fulfilling common assumptions of Poland's Energy Policy to 2030 and European plan on climate change.
