Comparison and selection of three regeneration strategies for the resource-dependent enterprise: Taking coal enterprise as an example

Prior researches have mainly emphasized the development of resource-dependent cities, but we think, as the micro main body of the resource-dependent city, the development of resource-dependent enterprise has a decisive influence on the development of resource-dependent city, thus the paper studies the regeneration strategy of resource-dependent enterprise. Based on strategy management theory and sustainable development theory, combining the characteristics of resource-dependent enterprise, taking coal enterprise as an example, the authors suggest that resource-dependent enterprise has three regenerating strategies, industry chain extension strategy, trans-regional exploitation strategy and diversification strategy, analyze their strengths, weaknesses and suitable conditions, resource-dependent enterprise should choose the strategy according to its inside conditions and external environments.
