摘要
Plastic crash of thin-walled circular tube section in three-point bending by circular tools is considered. Nonlinear elastic-plastic tube bending simulation is used with work hardening effect consideration. Critical tube curvature and toll reactions leading to plastic crash of the tube section are estimated using plastic hinges mechanism. Elastic-plastic bending moment versus curvature, critical curvature and toll reaction estimations, constrained by thin-walled tube plastic crash, are reasonably correlated with experiments.
