Gender and Climate Change. A look from Critical Thinking

This article presents a critical assessment of the complex relationship between gender and climate change. It exposes, from the theory of gender, a perspective that allows to visualize the nexuses or specific relationships of this social phenomenon; then, without pretensions of a conclusive answer, the question "perspective or mainstreaming of gender" is discussed; Finally, a look at the key elements of the pressing climate change and the social significance of mitigation and adaptation actions to climate change is introduced.
