摘要
The article proposes a single-phase soft switching based integrated on-board charger with less component count. The proposed strategy of charger based on new approach of obtaining ZVS/ZCS turn on/off without additional passive and active devices in the circuit. The proposed charger consists converter which inherits high efficiency with less turn on/off losses across MOSFET switching devices. In this two-stage integrated charger, first stage provides PF near unity and less THD in supply current, second stage regulates battery current/voltage at battery end. The complete system is analyzed mathematically and examined through MATLAB Simulink software. In addition, the charger performance is investigated with CC and CV charging modes of battery load and also explored in steady state with resistive load. The proposed charger strategy with single phase 230V/50Hz supply met the requirement of on-board charger with small size, weight and volume features.
