摘要
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is characterized by inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. The objective of this research was to know the knowledge that teachers of the early years have about ADHD. This study has a qualitative approach in a field research and, for this, used a semi-structured interview with 20 teachers from the public and private network of a city in Bahia. The data were grouped into categories of present response and counted by frequency of simple occurrence, in continuity, discussed in the light of the theoretical reference. The study concludes that the theoretical knowledge about the ADHD of the teachers studied are few or that the teachers studied show little theoretical understanding about ADHD.
