摘要
Wood chips, bark, segregated municipal waste, meat-and-bone meal, turkey feathers, sewage sludge (from drying beds and sedimentation ponds), and chars formed on thermal conversion of PE and PP. were burnt, 100 kg C/hr., in a 1.5-MW fluidized-bed reactor-combustor. With no de-NO, system installed, N oxides were the major factor to be controllled. The low thermal rate, simplicity of maintenance, and flue-gas compn. speak in favor of the combustor for a 60,000-strong area waste incineration plant.
