摘要
Conservation Voltage Reduction (CVR) has been used to reduce active demand power and consumed energy for decades by distribution companies. However, with emerging integrated transmission and distribution analysis, control, and management methods, CVR can be applied as a solution for transmission related issues. In this paper, voltage stability oriented CVR using integrated transmission and distribution analysis has been proposed. Modal analysis based on reduced Jacobian matrix has been employed in order to allocate the voltage reduction share for distribution systems. An adequacy factor for allocation of voltage reduction for active and reactive power is proposed in order to quantify the effectiveness of CVR in terms of voltage stability. IEEE 30-bus for transmission and IEEE 13-bus system for distribution system have been utilized to generate integrated transmission and distribution system model. The results show that the proposed method is able to allocate the voltage reduction among distribution system effectively in order to improve the voltage stability of the system.
