摘要
The tendency of the network infrastructures of current data centers compared to traditional ones is that the installation of structured cabling at the rack level, which includes switches and servers, is 8-wire fiber optic MTP with drawers with enough and wide space to accommodate the optical fiber and its connectors. Under these circumstances, current network infrastructures must guarantee a level of security and reliability in handling data at the level of servers in the cloud. In this article, switch-centric network topologies and server-centric network topologies proposing before an analysis of the classification of network topologies for DCNs, in the latter case, emphasizing DCell network structures. It is important to point out that server-centric network topologies, due to their recursion, must allow managing the flow of information, the level of latency in the network, the redirection of information between source and destination nodes, and the resilience in the structure of the network in which the attention that giving to the fault that occurs resolving in a specific way without affecting the overall operation of the network. The main objective of this article is to propose an analysis of the DCell network topology, and a model, concerning other network topologies such as BCube, BCCC, and GBC3, taking into consideration aspects related to the number of servers connected to the network, the network diameter, degrees, and bandwidth, so on. Conducting such research is important because server-centric network topologies can serve as a reference for constructing and implementing data center network architectures.
