摘要：

The paper briefly introduces the present situation of coal and methane outburst in China and abroad, reviews the development of outburst prevention technique, introduces and explains china "four steps of outburst prevention" of comprehensive methane outburst prevention technique and its basis. The achievement in methane outburst control in recent years is also discussed. Some problems needed to be solved in the near future in methane outburst control are put forward.
