摘要：

A method of determining asymptotic expansions for weakly coupled nonlinearly perturbed systems of harmonic oscillators with slowly varying frequencies is presented. In an example with two oscillators, each one experiences a separate resonance passage that produces a first-order amplitude change. Simultaneously, second-order adjustments occur to both oscillators. Their determination is achieved by carrying the calculations to third order.
