Case teaching method is a teaching method on the basis of cases, which plays an important role to improve the teaching effect of landscape design curriculum. This paper analyzes application's problems of the case teaching method in landscape design curriculum. With new Chinese landscape design for example, according to the application program of case teaching method: typical cases selecting, case introduction, problem settings, group discussion, student's solutions to problems, summary of case discussion, homework settings, this paper introduces in detail the application of case teaching method in landscape design curriculum. It is helpful to promote the teaching effect and the learning efficiency of landscape design curriculum by properly organizing and applying the case teaching method. This method is also applicable to other landscape design courses such as urban greenbelts planning, plant landscaping, etc., which has wide application prospects.
