ALTERNATIVE TEACHING RESOURCES AS STIMULATING MEANS OF LEARNING: REFLECTIONS FROM THE EXPERIENCE IN THE PEDAGOGICAL RESIDENCE

摘要
Education goes through important transformations in its search for a better way of teaching-learning, standardized information and the place of receiving the message attributed to the student is increasingly out of date with his way of interacting socially. The challenge of providing motivation to continue learning is relevant in the social context of the 21st century, thus, new teaching methodologies can be incorporated and reflected in educational spaces, where the use of alternative teaching resources may contain mechanisms that stimulate interaction and motivation in class. This research aimed to promote the insertion of alternative didactic resources in Geography classes through the Pedagogical Residency Program, in the 6th year D class of Professor Mario Matos Municipal School, located in the municipality of Garanhuns - PE. Methodologically, the project consisted of a qualitative research, in the form of a case study with intervention. It was observed that the classes became more dialogued and interactive with the use of different resources, providing mutual learning between students and teachers and that their diversity when used in a contextualized way with science, becomes tools that help in the assimilation of the content and stimulating learning.
