摘要
A mixed breed of dog with a year-long history of hind limb ataxia (at the beginning) and (later) four limb ataxia was examined. Neurological examination localized the lesion to the cervical spinal cord. Myclography demonstrated dynamic compressive lesions at C 6-7 consistent with diagnosis of Wobbler syndrom. Distraction and bone cement plug stabilization was performed and resulted in full neurological recovery within a month after the operation. During the 18-month-long follow up period the result is still good.
