Coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease in chronic kidney disease: An epidemiological perspective

摘要：
This article describes the epidemiology of coronary artery disease and peripheral vascular disease among patients who have chronic kidney disease. Special emphasis is given to studies that have described the natural history of these vascular conditions at different stages of chronic kidney disease in accordance with current recommendations from the National Kidney Foundation Disease Outcomes Quality Initiative.
