摘要
The nonlinear heat transfer of a spiral fin with periodic base temperature is derived and presented in this article by using a proposed method of Adomian decomposition. The proposed method is practical and computational effective in solving nonlinear equations associated with heat conduction and radiation. The base temperature is periodic and fluctuated around a mean value. The results of fin temperature distribution and heat flux from spiral fin base are characterized systematically. The nonlinear heat transfer behaviors and effect of total energy transferred from spiral fin base on dimensionless fm temperature distribution are elaborated and discussed. The modeling results indicate that the proposed method is effective and widely applicable for solving various nonlinear engineering problems.
