摘要
This paper presents an experimental study on the cyclic loading-unloading-reloading hysteresis loops of C/SiC ceramic-matrix composites (CMCs) with different fiber preforms, i.e., unidirectional, cross-ply, 2D, 2.5D and 3D, at room and elevated temperatures in air. An effective coefficient of the fiber volume fraction in the loading direction was used to characterize fiber architectures of the preforms. The hysteresis loops models considering the effect of fibers Poisson contraction and effective coefficient of the fiber volume fraction in the loading direction were used to predict hysteresis loops corresponding to different fiber preforms, peak stresses and test conditions.
