摘要
This paper addresses issues related to the hydrodynamics of aquatic systems, with the application of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) analysis. In this respect, a modelling and simulation study was conducted in order to reveals a new perspective on hydrological phenomena in the Northern Romanian sector of the Black Sea. The study area is represented by the Danube river discharge in the Black Sea through the Sulina branch. Also, a comparison with the CMEMS model showed the advantages and limitations of quantitative prediction of flow phenomena using CFD simulations.
