An e-learning concept for research-based learning

摘要
In the civil engineering programme at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences, students of structural engineering can choose project modules in both the Bachelor???s and Master???s programmes in which they learn and apply scientific work and the use of measurement technology. Within the framework of a research project on pedestrian -induced vibrations, an e-learning concept was developed, tested and analyzed, which enables a good link between teaching and research. The students are allowed to deal with a small sub question from the research topic and the results are made usable for subsequent groups in the form of a wiki. The analysis and evaluation of the concept focuses on the conditions (such as the students??? motivation to perform), the course processes as well as the acceptance and effect of the concept.
