摘要
This paper presents a novel approach for solving the power system economic dispatch (ED) problem considering environmental constraints. The proposed approach combines a genetic algorithm (GA) with a lambda-weight iteration technique. The approach takes environmental constraints as well as network losses, ramp rate limits, and valve points into account to make the ED results more accurate. The environmental constraints are satisfied throughout the lambda-weight iteration procedure. The salient feature makes the proposed approach attractive in real applications which face to the more rigorous environmental protection requirements. Numerical results show that the proposed approach is efficient and accurate.
