摘要：

One of the mechanisms in producing resistance to antibacterial drugs includes production of enzymes by bacteria, which destroy or inactivate the drugs (Quinn et al., 2002). Salmonellosis is one of the most frequent flood-borne infections in humans and contaminated poultry products are one of the major sources of infection (Jordan et al 2002). The present study was undertake to record the salmonella serotypes isolated from Iranian broiler chickens, prevalence of antibiotic-resistant isolates and beta-lactamase production in ampicillin-resistant strains.
