摘要
Non-linear Newton-GMRES methods are studied for the resolution of the Navier-Stokes system of equations on multi-block structured grids. Preconditioning is required to obtain convergence and maintain stability, and several preconditioning methods are discussed. The convergence of these methods is analysed for a non-linear model problem. Results of calculations for a stiff subsonic flow regime problem and for a supersonic shock/boundary layer interaction problem are presented.
