Experiment Design of Machine Vision Measurement Based on Set Algebra Theory for Discrete Mathematics Course

摘要
Set algebra theory is the core content of discrete mathematics set theory. Set algebra theory is commonly difficult to understand for new learners. Combining both image processing technology and machine vision, under the basic set algebra theory of union, intersection, relative complement and absolute complement operation, sets basic operation experiments in image processing and set algebra applied experiment in machine vision are proposed. Corresponding codes of matlab are shown in this paper. Experimental designs of basic image processing operations, machine vision applications of beverage bottle defect detection and gear parameter measurement using set algebra theory are proposed in this paper. These methods proposed could be shared in discrete mathematics class, used as application case for set algebra theory and especially used as after-school experiments or homework.
