摘要
This work describes the process of initial validation of a revised version of the Multiple Intelligences Self-Efficacy Inventory (IAMI-R). This instrument was created to assess adolescent's self-efficacy in relationship with academic activities associated with the multiple intelligences, in a context of career development. The IAMI-R was administered to a sample of high school students, in the city of Cordoba, Argentina. Psychometric studies analyzing the factorial structure (through exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis) and internal consistency of their scales were accomplished. The results of this study, beside others recently presented, show that the IAMI-R scales possess satisfactory properties of construct validity and internal consistency. Subsequent phases of this research will include analysis of the instrument's stability and criterion validity.
