摘要
The present review on the synthesis and applications of porous carbon materials covers activated carbons, carbon gels, foams and monoliths with pore sizes ranging from micro- to macropores. Activated carbons are widely used as adsorbents in gas- and liquid-phase separation/ treatment processes. The synthesis of meso- and/or macro-porous carbon gels and monoliths enhances the applications of these functional materials. Similarly, macroporous carbon foams made of CNTs should be applicable as chemical sensors and catalyst supports. This review covers publications contributed over the past decade by Thai researchers and their collaborators, in particular by Center of Excellence in Particle Technology at Chulalongkorn University.
