摘要
This paper investigated the hydrothermal conversion of glucose to lactic acid using Al(OH)(3) to exploit mild base catalysts. Results showed that the highest lactic acid yield of 17% was obtained from glucose with Al(OH)(3) with 35% water filling at 300 degrees C for 60 s. Thus, this study may provide a promising method for lactic acid synthesis and biomass utilization under hydrothermal conditions with aluminium hydroxide.
