Reducing Unintentional Signal by SG-contact Devices in Intra-body Communication

摘要
This paper reports an analysis of a signal and ground electrode contact type (SG-type) transmitter (Tx) for reducing an unintentional signal in intra-body communication (IBC). The unintentional signal is caused by a return path signal. We attempted to use the SG-type Tx for reducing the unintentional signal by the return path signal. The SG-type Tx was investigated using an experiment and an electromagnetic field simulation. The results indicated that the return path signal is reduced by the SG-type Tx. It was also found that the SG-type Tx has the ability of directional signal propagation.
