A READING ABOUT CARLOS DRUMMOND DE ANDRADE'S EROTIC POEMS

The text proposes a look about the book Poemas eroticos de Carlos Drummond de Andrade (1987), written by the critic Rita de Cassia Barbosa, It was launched by the Principio Series. The work brings together 09 of the 39 poems that compose the book O Amor Natural (1992), a collection of erotic poems written by Drummond between 1975 and 1985. The book was chosen because of the way that literary criticism reads Drummond's erotic poems. A kind of analysis that is constituted "from the penetration in the poems". By using the word penetration as a metaphor for reading, a relationship is established between the poems, the critic and the reader.
