Components for the reuse of activities in Web applications

摘要：
In this paper we present a component-based approach for treating activities as first-class citizens in Web applications. We show that there exists a mismatch in the form of a phase lag between the logical activity structure, and the supporting servlet software structure. To solve the problems caused by this mismatch, we introduce activity components and a component framework governing the collaboration. We distinguish basic and composed activity components, and show how they embody standard behavior of activities for reuse.
