摘要
BODIPY derivatives represent a very versatile class of fluorophores, which possess optimized photophysical properties. Therefore, they can be used in numerous applications, one of them being molecular imaging. More particularly, they can be used for the construction of bimodal probes, or for the development of trackable therapeutics. In this chapter, we will focus on our recent developments of these systems, as well as their applications. A particular focus will be on the optimization of the fluorophore part, for in vivo applications.
