Some mathematical programming models to supplier selection under fuzzy environment

As organizations become more dependent on suppliers, the selection of the suppliers plays more and more important role in the decision system of the company. Traditional methods in this field always assume that the demand of the manufacture is exactly known, which is a difficult thing in real life. This paper attends to consider the supplier selection in fuzzy environment, in the case of multiple sources, multiple criteria and capacity constraints. We will give some mathematical models to illustrate the problem under fuzzy demand, which takes into account the total costs including purchasing cost, holding cost and ordering cost. Due to the the complexity of these models, the hybrid algorithms integrated by fuzzy simulations and genetic algorithm are proposed. Finally, some numerical examples are provided to show the models and the algorithms.
