Facility location planning with qualitative location factors

In the literature concerning facility location planning quantitative as well as qualitative methods can be found. Since empirical studies mention the importance of qualitative location factors beside quantitative criteria, this paper deals with corresponding planning methods in particular. The methods known from the literature are to criticize, because the given quantitative and qualitative information is not represented adequately. To face this criticism, approaches re suiting by the application of multivariate methods of data analysis are presented.
