摘要
In this paper, a planar high-efficient W-band substrate integrated waveguide (SIW) cavity-backed slot antenna array is proposed. A 4 x 8 SIW slot array without a multiple-output feed network is designed. High-order-mode cavity is introduced to feed slot antenna to reduce the complexity of feeding network, which dramatically reduce the transmission loss and obtain better cavity-backed antenna performance. The analysis and comparison with arrangements between radiating slots and coupling slots are also conducted. The antenna efficiency of proposed slot antenna array is higher than 70%. The proposed high-efficient antenna is an excellent candidate for the high-frequency millimeter-wave (mm-wave) wireless system.
