A study of thick-film gas sensors based on SnO2 nano-powders prepared by hydrothermal synthesis technique

摘要
The experimental results of two type thick film SnO2 gas sensors are reported in this paper. The sensors based on SnO2 powders prepared by cc-precipitation are called sensors-c, and the sensors based on SnO2 powders prepared by hydrothermal synthesize are named sensors-h. The experimental results show that the sensitivity and selectivity of sensors-h for many type gases such as i-C4H10, H-2, C2H5OH, CH4 and CO are higher than those of sensors-e for the same gases. The influence of heating voltage on the stability of sensors and the great differences between properties of sensors-h and of sensors-c are explained by SEM and XRD analysis.
