THE DISCIPLINE OF ADVENTURE SPORTS FROM THE SPEECH OF TEACHERS OF PHYSICAL EDUCATION COURSES

The present research sought to discuss the discipline of Adventure Sports, based on the speech of teachers of degree courses in Physical Education, from Brazilian public Higher Education Institutions. Given this context, this research aimed to: Analyze the perception of teachers of PCA disciplines about its pedagogical aspect for the performance of future teachers. The research is characterized as a qualitative approach. To carry out the work, 13 teachers were interviewed. Data analysis was carried out using the Content Analysis method, Bardin (2011). For data collection, an interview script prepared by the research authors was used. The interviews showed that the discipline is being consolidated in the curriculum of undergraduate courses in Physical Education. The teachers demonstrate affinity with the Adventure Sports and knowledge when teaching the contents, linking them with several current themes.
