Effect of iron oxide on the hydrogen sulfide sensitivity of tin oxide thin film

摘要
The effect of iron oxide on the hydrogen sulfide sensitivity of tin oxide thin films was discussed. A highly selective Fe doped thin film tin oxide H2S sensor prepared by using spray pyrolysis technique was reported. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) studies were carried out to understand the morphology of the film with different concentrations of Fe, using Leica Stereoscan 440 model. The films were tested for sensitivity, defined as the change in conductance to the original conductance. The SEM micrographs showed the difference in morphology of tin oxide matrix.
