摘要
In this paper, a detailed analysis of the current advanced PID control design is given. It consists of dynamic feedforward, setpoint modification and fuzzy logic. The fuzzy logic feedforward can be treated as one kind of nonlinear control. Simulations are performed based on models obtained using real power plant step test data. The performance of each design is accessed based on the area regulation test criterion currently adopted by PJM Interconnection LLC. In general, well-tuned advanced PID control design can give an AR test score of more than 90 with pressure fluctuations less than 3%. This design has been used as a benchmark for comparison studies against other MIMO control designs.
