摘要
College English is a basic course for college students to study. Studying college English courses can help college students to train their listening and speaking ability, improve their English application ability and help students improve their comprehensive cultural literacy to adapt to China's development and social needs. MOOC, as a kind of massive open online course, is very popular among many students when appearing, and has a tremendous impact on the teaching of college English. There are a lot of exposed problems in our traditional college English teaching, which cannot meet the needs of many English professional talents, so the emergence of MOOC model makes the quality of college English teaching greatly improved. As the MOOC is basically taught in English, it can make students have an organic fusion of English basic knowledge and professional English. This paper summarizes the concept and characteristics of MOOC, analyzes the problems in college English teaching in the field of MOOC and sums up the methods of college English teaching reform in the field of MOOC to make MOOC have a better integration with college English teaching, to improve the quality of personnel training.
