摘要
The purpose of this paper is to review in literature an approximation of emotional intelligence within Mexican companies, because the history of this issue in the Mexican context is scarce. It traces the history, as found within business executives, and notes innovations that might be employed for the future. For literature review, penned from 2000 onward, the PRISMA method was followed. The results show that emotional intelligence of Mexican business leaders does not meet the international standard, so it must create a renewed commitment to create emotionally committed and conscious executives to bring the country to the global economic vanguard.
