摘要
Switching signals are generated using control techniques for operation of voltage source inverter (VSI). Each control having distinctive pros and cons that requires a trade-off to achieve desired performance of VSI system. Finite control set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) has gained considerable interest among the researchers due to advantages such as intuitive execution of algorithm and inclusion of constraints. This paper presents a comparative analysis of FCS-MPC and classical control techniques: hysteresis current control (HCC) and linear pulse width modulation (PWM) for three phase VSI system. The controllers are developed in MATLAB/Simulink environment to investigate the system performance corresponding to change in controller parameters.
