摘要
Coagulase-negative staphylococci (CNS) were isolated as causative agents of clinical and subclinical mastitis in three flocks of sheep. Of the 42 CNS isolates, 57% were identified as S. epidermidis, 23.8% as S. xylosus, 11.9% as S. warneri, 4.8% as S. haemolyticus and 2.4% as S. lentus. Eight clinical cases of mastitis were caused by S. epidermidis, S. xylosus and S. warneri. All strains were sensitive to oxacillin, enrofloxacin and kanamycin. Fifteen isolates of S. epidermidis were resistant to penicillin G, and two isolates of S. xylosus were resistant to penicillin G and erythromycin. Resistance to tetracycline was observed in five strains of S. epidermidis and two strains of S. xylosus.
