Liquid-particulate two-phase flow in centrifugal impeller by turbulent simulation

摘要
In the present work, turbulent liquid-particulate two-phase flows at the particle dilute concentration through a centrifugal impeller has been simulated by using the K-epsilon-Ap turbulence model. In the present numerical treatment, the finite volume method, based on the SIMPLEC algorithm, is applied in a body fitted coordinate system. The liquid particle two-phase flow turbulence model used in this study can correctly predict essential features of this flow in centrifugal impellers at dilute concentrations.
