摘要
The ill effects of vehicles have been increasing to a large amount nowadays due to the enormous increase in its usage. The main causes for accidents are diverting minds, over stress and health abnormalities. The vehicle is prone to accident if the person driving the vehicle has no control over it. Internet of things has many merits in real time system which is used to run the life safer also more secured. The statistic taken by the government indicates the mortality rate of about 140,000 in the last year. This statistics state that the mortality rate has been increased to 4.6 than the previous year. Road accidents have become frequent thing in India, often due to the ignorance of the driver or badly maintained vehicles and poor maintenance roads. People usually point out poorly designed road as the reason for accidents. A survey presented by ministry of road transport says 147,123 people were killed in India's road in 2017, Approximately 400 road accident deaths take place every day on India's roads. This research work proposes an accident monitoring system that predicts hazards that occur due to ignorance of the driver. The proposed system introduces an accident alerting system by using different sensors. Whenever the sensors sense abnormalities it automatically slows down the engine and doors will be unlocked automatically with sound indicatons. Here, we present an IoT enabled system to avoid the vehicle accident. This system prototype has been designed with Microcontroller (PIC16F887). (c) 2021 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
