摘要
The author has intensely studied former manufactured gas plants and other coal-tar sites for the past ten years. In that effort several outstanding and now-predictable conditions have come to light. Many of these conditions were not fully recognized during the historic operational period (1805-1960) and were therefore under-reported in the rich historic literature of the industry. Here is my current expose of some of these now-critical factors.
