摘要：
Urban migration for work creates problems both for migrant workers themselves and for the governments that must integrate new populations. The three articles in the present issue of Chinese Sociology and Anthropology examine possible means of integration of migrants into community life, the socially isolated experience of migrant life, and the characteristics of migrants who settle permanently.
