Outreach in Lithuanian music libraries

Outreach for libraries can go in two directions-incoming and outgoing. The Lithuanian music libraries have been the recipient of donations of music materials from a variety of sources (IAML donations alone are a third of the material received) which are critical in helping the libraries succeed in their mission of preserving the nation's identity. Correspondingly, the libraries also provide Lithuanian music outreach for Lithuanian needs in other countries and in doing so, help preserve Lithuanian culture elsewhere.
