摘要
In the surgical treatment of pelvis floor disorders ( rectal prolapse, outlet obstruction, sigmoidocele or combined disorders of the pelvic floor) the advantages of the laparoscopic access are especially relevant in the early postoperative period. Concerning the surgical and functional results after treatment of rectal prolapse, laparo-scopically assisted rectopexy ( with or without resection of the sigmoid colon, with or without mesh) is at least equal to open surgery. In this study we analyzed patients ( n = 107, male 4, female 103) who underwent laparoscopically assisted rectopexy. 88.2% of the patients suffering from obstruction and 87.9% of the patients with constipation reported a significant decrease of preoperative symptoms. Furthermore 62.4% ( 60.6%) of the patients were free of symptoms.
