A frame procedure for multi-criteria decision-making: Formulation and applications

摘要
Considering the prescriptive approach to decision-making, this paper introduces a frame procedure for multi-criteria decision-making (MCDM) by using the group of methods, based on assigning weights. We developed some methodological solutions to the particularities arising in real-life applications, regarding: the steps of the procedure for the goal fulfillment, hierarchy restructuring and weights recalculation, consistency improvement, and the use of the optimal values, obtained by simulations where single-criteria linear, linear mixed integer and fractional optimization models were used as scenarios, in MCDM models. They enable the presented frame procedure to fulfill all criteria of the proactive approach to decision-making.
